Booking
Booking Policy All clients must be 18+ with valid government-issued ID. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and is applied toward your balance. Please arrive on time, clean, hydrated, and having eaten. No guests unless approved in advance. Designs may require multiple sessions depending on size, detail, placement, and skin.
Rescheduling & cancellation
Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 48 hours’ notice. Less than 48 hours’ notice may result in loss of your deposit. No-call/no-show appointments forfeit the deposit and require a new deposit to rebook. If you are sick, please contact me immediately and do not come to your appointment.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit is required to book and is applied toward your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Deposits are forfeited for late cancellations, no-shows, or arriving unable to receive the tattoo. A new deposit is required for follow-up bookings after a forfeited appointment.

First-Timer Questions
Good To Know
How much does a tattoo with an5maly cost?
Sessions start at $600 and scale with size and detail at $150 an hour. Every service shows its price upfront, and you will get an exact quote from an5maly after they see your idea, before any deposit is due.
Does an5maly require a deposit?
Yes. A $90 deposit confirms your appointment after an5maly accepts your request. It goes directly to the artist and counts toward your final price.
Does an5maly do color tattoos?
an5maly focuses on black & grey rather than color work. Browse the portfolio above to see the range, and send a request to talk through your idea.
Where is an5maly located?
an5maly works out of Black Flamingo Collective in Bethesda, Maryland. Locations and hours are listed above.
I have never been tattooed. Is that okay?
More than okay. an5maly marks their profile as first-timer friendly and walks you through every step before starting. Just mention it is your first when you send your request.
Does it hurt, and can I get numbing?
Everyone is different, and placement matters a lot. Numbing cream is available on request, so flag it in your booking so an5maly can prep. You can take breaks any time during the session.
Is the deposit refundable?
The deposit counts toward your final price rather than being an extra charge, and it is only due after an5maly accepts your request. Rescheduling terms are set by an5maly: see the policies section on this page.
What about aftercare?
an5maly sends written aftercare instructions when you book and goes over them in person at the end of your session, so your tattoo heals cleanly.
