A message from the founders
We built TattMe to solve a problem we experienced firsthand.
As two Black men with tattoos, finding artists who truly understood melanated skin was harder than it should’ve been. And many of the artists who did exceptional work on darker skin weren’t getting the visibility they deserved.
But the deeper we got into the industry, the more we realized the problem was bigger than representation. The entire tattoo booking experience was broken for both artists and clients.
Artists were managing their businesses through DMs, spreadsheets, and multiple payment apps. Clients were struggling to discover the right artists, communicate their ideas clearly, and book with confidence.
So we built TattMe: a platform designed to make tattoo discovery, booking, payments, and business management seamless, while helping elevate artists and communities that have historically been underserved.
Our belief is simple: When you build for the people most overlooked by an industry, you create a better experience for everyone.

The name
TattMe is a declaration. Tattoo Me. My body, my skin, my story. It's the moment you stop scrolling and say: I want an artist who can tattoo ME. Not a version of me. Not close enough. Me. That belief, that everyone deserves an artist who can bring their vision to life on their skin, is the whole reason TattMe exists.
