**Booking Policy** Thank you for booking with us! Please review the following booking policy to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience: Deposit A nonrefundable deposit is required within 48 hours of your appointment being accepted. This deposit secures your spot and will be deducted from your final cost. Failure to submit the deposit within this time frame will result in the automatic cancellation of your appointment. Please note that the deposit is not an additional charge—it will be subtracted from the total price of your service. Cancellations Deposits are non-refundable. Same day cancellations are considered a “no show.” In cases of extenuating circumstances, exceptions may be made at our discretion. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule due to such circumstances. Late Arrival We kindly ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to cancel your appointment and your deposit will be forfeited or we will reschedule. No-Show Policy If you fail to show up for your appointment without prior notice, you will be charged 70% of the total cost of your tattoo. This fee will be invoiced to you, and future appointments will require full payment upfront. Health and Safety Your health and well-being are our priority. Please make sure you are well-prepared for your appointment: eat a good breakfast, get plenty of sleep, and avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment, as it thins your blood. Staying hydrated is also important, so be sure to drink enough water. Please do not bring children or guests to the studio, as there is limited space and we are working with blood-borne pathogens and sharp objects. Tattoo Healing Process Healing your tattoo is a gradual process that typically takes between 2-4 weeks. Your skin will go through several stages during this time: - Initial Healing (Days 1-3); soreness, some inflammation and a little irritation is to be expected. If you have second skin on at this time, you may notice an ink sac begin to form. This is great for the healing process! Use unscented, antibacterial soap (Dove has a good brand) to wash your tattoo gently. - The peely-itchy phase (Days 4-14); do not itch! Moisturizer will be your best friend especially at this phase, Aquaphor is my favorite! - Final Healing (Days 15-30); healing time may depend on factors such as size, placement and detail of the tattoo, as well as how your body’s natural healing process works! Proper aftercare is essential throughout these stages to avoid infection and ensure the best possible outcome for your tattoo. Avoid exposing the tattoo to harsh sunlight, use extra sunscreen on tattoos always, and avoid submitting the tattoo under water until around 2-4 weeks.
